A little earlier to give it a 5 rating as we just started using it. But very happy so far and quick shipping.

I was planning on building a DIY slow hay feeder until I came across these tub toppers. I bought one last fall and I am converting my second tank to a slow hay feeder this fall. These are easy to use, can be moved around and I am no longer hanging up hay nets. The quality is great, they are brilliantly easy to use and they have held up really well with a goat, three mini donkeys and mustang using them daily. I have also been very happy with the hay nets that I got last fall also!! Highly recommend!

Great quality net. Solves the problem of switching from small bales to large bales and still being able to use a net. Installed easily.

I have purchased 4 of these tank toppers. They are working perfecting and helping stretch the hay. Now they can have 24/7 hay without over feeding. Very pleased.

I love the tub topper, but my rambunctious horse ripped off the zip ties and broke the buckle in the first day! I will replace with stronger zip ties and buckled and try it again! I love the concept, a little harder to eat out of, for the “air fern”, and easier to fill for me. Also, I should have gone a size up on the hole size

Did not fit my rubbermaid trough, but I have a 245 gallon. Does appear to be the same great quality as the other bags.

These standard tub toppers are made to fit 100 & 150 gal tanks, a 250 gallon would require a custom size net

I love these. I bought two of them. Now I only feed my horses once a week. They can eat all day without over feeding. Saves on wasted hay. Worth every penny. One of my nets is on the 100 gallon Rubbermaid and the other one is on a 110 gallon recycled non toxic water tub. It works great on both. Easy!

Awesome option for feeding! I have used it for 6 months now and it is much better than loading flakes into a slow feed net twice a day. I am able to fit two full bales of hay (stacked) when needed and this net doesn’t accidently get pulled out and dragged through the muck. Saves so much waste. Great product!!

I put mine together in less than an hour. My horses love it and it makes feeding SO much easier and LESS messy!

I like this too! I have this tub topper in one pasture and the full bale hay nets in another pasture. I think I slightly prefer the full bale bags – easier to fill, the hay doesn’t hold as much moisture if it rains, and it is easier for them to get every last piece. With the tub topper the last few flakes worth get smashed down on the sides and it is hard for them to eat. Filling is still pretty easy, but a little more finagaling is needed to get two bales in. Not disappointed- just surprised I like the bale bags better! This tub topper is very sturdy and came with excellent directions and all the pieces you need – a great idea executed very well!

Works well, sometimes the excess material ends up falling down on the side instead of into the tub but does and excellent job limiting hay waste.

Perfect solution to my sandy pasture problem! I needed something to keep the hay out of the sand and this is it! I don’t have to stuff and hang hay bags multiple times a day and they aren’t eating off the ground! Thank you soooo much!

My horse took right to the 1.75” mesh topper. I might need to order a smaller gauge mesh as he’s such a pig and gets “cresty” even at 6 yo.

My friends loved mine and ordered 1 when we thought/were told our facility was going self-care.

If you are handy with a drill, this setup is the best we could find on the market, especially if your horse is shod.

My horse is a proven hay net destroyer. The only other kind of hay net he can’t rip huge holes in is the nylon webbed kind. Hay Chix nets only last less than a week. This net has lasted for a couple of months and is holding up beautifully! So so so happy to finally find a brand of hay net that can hold up to my horse!!
