3/8″ Black – This bungee is made with first quality rubber for strength and long life.

White is discontinued – the black was changed by manufacturer and now as the same stretch resistance that the white had, no sense in having both

Max stretch is roughly 1.75 ft per every 1 foot ,  So 10 ft relaxed when stretched to the max would be almost 17.50 ft.      You never want to go to the max stretch as it would shorten life span of the elastic.    Amount needed depends on how tight you really want the elastic –  the more length you use – the less you have to pull it to stretch it

reference – hay baskets use approximately 11 ft unstretched

100-150 tub toppers use just under 9 ft unstretched
